Amarnath Yatra 2025 Registration Dates Announced

The Amarnath Yatra online registration started on April 14, 2025, and the yatra will commence on July 3, 2025, and conclude on August 9, 2025. These dates have been officially announced by the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).

How to Register for Amarnath Yatra 2025 – Step-by-Step Guide

Any confusion regarding how to register for Amarnath Yatra 2025? Here’s a simple step-by-step process:

Select your preferred route: Pahalgam or Baltal
Fill in personal and contact details
Upload required documents (photo, ID, CHC)

Documents Required for Amarnath Yatra 2025

To successfully complete your registration, keep the following documents ready:

Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) from an authorized doctor
A recent passport-size photo
Valid ID proof – Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Driving License

Only pilgrims aged 13–70 are eligible for registration. Pregnant women are not allowed to undertake the yatra.

Routes for Amarnath Yatra 2025 – Baltal vs Pahalgam

There are two major routes:

Pahalgam Route: Scenic, longer (approx. 36–48 km), takes 3–5 days
Baltal Route: Shorter (approx. 14 km) but steeper and more physically demanding

You can choose the route during the registration process based on your fitness level and preferences.
