The direct train to Kashmir is now becoming true with the introduction of new trains from Katra Railway (SVDK) to Srinagar Railway Station (SINA). The Northern Railways has already announced the timings of trains between Katra and Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir.
As per Northern Railway, this new train service will include the Vande Bharat trains and Mail/Express trains. The Vande Bharat Express train will become the first semi high-speed train between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station and Srinagar Station.

Ticket prices for the Vande Bharat Express are anticipated to be around ₹1500-1600 for AC Chair Car and ₹2200-2500 for Executive Chair Cars, although final prices have yet to be confirmed.
