The route passes through Sheeri, Nowsheri, Chahal and Limber, with the road remaining macadamised (paved) up to Prinjal. From Srinagar, the journey to Baramulla and onward to Boniyar covers roughly 100 km, taking about 3–4 hours by taxi or bus. Here you can book a private cab for Babagail visit.
Trekking to the Waterfall:
Beyond Prinjal, vehicles cannot go further and visitors must continue on foot. The Limber waterfall is located approximately 20 kilometers from Boniyar tehsil, located amidst the silent mountains of the area, within the premises of Limber Wildlife Sanctuary. The trek winds through dense forest cover, rocky terrain and gurgling mountain streams that define the Limber landscape.
For those continuing further into the sanctuary, the trek to Vijji Top takes around 2.5 hours from Babagail village and passes through many small unexplored waterfall along the way, eventually rewarding trekkers with panoramic valley views.
