Detailed Itinerary: Leh Ladakh 9 Nights 10 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Our representative will greet you at Leh Airport and take you directly to the hotel, where you can check in and rest. Later, you can visit and explore the local market of Leh.

Day 2: Leh to Lamayuru to Kargil

Today, after having breakfast, you will head to Kargil via Lamayuru village. The village is known as Moonland due to its terrain’s resemblance to the surface of the Moon. You can also visit the nearby Lamayuru Monastery. Another famous and one of the oldest monasteries you can visit is Alchi Monastery, located in Alchi village.

Later in the evening, you will rest at the hotel and enjoy dinner followed by a comfortable sleep.

Day 3: Kargil to Leh Sightseeing

Your day begins with a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a revered shrine built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, where devotees come to offer prayers and seek blessings. Next, you will head to the fascinating Magnetic Hill, known for its mysterious phenomenon where vehicles seemingly defy gravity and move uphill on their own.

Wrap up the day with a visit to the Ladakh Hall of Fame, a museum honoring the bravery and sacrifices of Indian soldiers.

After this wonderful experience, return to your hotel in Leh, enjoy a hearty dinner, and relax for the night.

Day 4: Leh to Nubra valley

Today is the day for a long road trip from Leh to Nubra Valley, so wake up early, have breakfast, and ensure all your belongings are packed. On the way, you will cross one of the highest motorable passes in the world, the iconic Khardung La Pass.

Spend some time at the top of this mighty pass, take in the views, and capture some memorable photos. After that, continue your journey towards Nubra Valley. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or camp and take some time to rest.

Once you are refreshed, your exploration begins with a visit to Diskit Monastery, located high on a hill and offering breathtaking views of the valley below. Next, head to the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can ride the rare double-humped Bactrian camels or enjoy an exciting ATV ride across the soft sands.

If time permits, you can also visit the Panamik Hot Springs, located near the Siachen Glacier, a natural spring known for its medicinal properties.

Wrap up your day with a delicious local dinner and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at a cozy campsite under the stars, surrounded by the serene beauty of the mountains.

Day 5: Nubra valley to Turtuk day tour

Start your morning with breakfast and get ready for a day trip to Turtuk. In Turtuk, you can visit the Turtuk Waterfalls, the Balti Heritage Museum, and the historic government school that was once operated under the Pakistani education system until 1971.

Turtuk is located just 7 kilometers from Pakistan-administered Kashmir and offers a unique landscape as compared to other parts of Ladakh.

After a full day of exploration and adventure, return to your camp in Nubra Valley. Enjoy a delicious dinner and go for a sleep.

Day 6: Nubra valley to Pangong Lake

Today, it is another adventurous day, as you are going to explore one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world, the Pangong Lake. The drive from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake passes through rugged mountains and the Shyok River.

After reaching the Pangong Lake, keep your luggage at the campsite and take some rest then start exploring the beauty of this lake. This lake became more popular after the shooting of Bollywood films like 3 Idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan filmed here.

After exploring the Pangong Lake and taking photos with the famous 3 Idiots scooter and chair, later in the evening go back to the camp for a peaceful overnight stay with a delicious dinner at a picturesque lakeside campsite.

Day 7: Pangong Lake to Hanle

Today, it’s time to leave Pangong Lake and head towards yet another mesmerizing beauty, famous for its clear views of the stars, Hanle. Pangong Lake remains visible even after covering several kilometers, until a diverge appears, welcoming you with stunning landscapes that will leave you pleasantly surprised.

There is a small restaurant on the way named “The Last Restaurant.” The journey also includes a small section where you will cross a stream. After this, you will reach the Loma check post before entering Hanle. Hanle village is known for its peaceful environment.

In the evening, enjoy a tasty dinner and spend the night under a clear sky.

Day 8: Hanle to Tso Moriri

Today, we will head towards Tso Moriri after having breakfast at the Hanle guest house. On this road trip from Hanle to Tso Moriri, you will cross Umling La Pass, the highest motorable pass in the world. After crossing this pass, the road continues through high-altitude terrain leading to the Mahe Bridge.

Finally, you will reach the beautiful Tso Moriri Lake. After arriving, check into the hotel, take some rest, and enjoy a peaceful walk around the lake.

End the day with a warm dinner and an overnight stay at Tso Moriri.

Day 9: Tso Moriri to Leh

Today is the ninth day of your Leh Ladakh 9 Nights 10 Days tour package. After having breakfast, you will begin the journey from Tso Moriri to Leh. Once you reach Leh, take some time to relax.

Later in the day, visit the local Leh market to wrap up any shopping or explore any nearby spots you might have missed, as tomorrow you will be departing from Leh and heading back home.

DAY 10 : Departure from Leh
