Detailed Itinerary: Leh Ladakh 7 Nights 8 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Once you arrive in Leh, our representative will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel and take rest. In the evening, you can either relax at the hotel or take a walk through the local market, where you will find silver jewelry, Tibetan handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, and other regional specialties.

Day 2: Leh to Sham valley Day tour

Today, start with a scenic day trip to Sham Valley, located approximately 70 kilometers from Leh. Along the way, you will also enjoy some key sightseeing spots around Leh.

Your journey begins with a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a revered shrine built in honor of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, where many devotees come to offer prayers. Next, head to the fascinating Magnetic Hill, a popular attraction where vehicles seemingly defy gravity by rolling uphill when left in neutral, creating a captivating optical illusion.

Continue on to Nimmu Valley, a picturesque location where the Zanskar and Indus rivers converge, offering a breathtaking view of their confluence. You will also explore Alchi Gompa, one of Ladakh’s oldest and most respected Buddhist monasteries, known for its historic murals and architecture.

And at last a visit to the Ladakh Hall of Fame, a memorial museum dedicated to the brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

After returning from Sham valley return to your hotel, enjoy a warm dinner, and relax for the night.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra valley

Start your morning with an early breakfast, as today’s journey takes you on a thrilling road trip from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass the second-highest motorable pass in the world. Be sure to pack your bags and be ready for departure on time.

Khardung La is well-known for its high altitude and adventurous route. After crossing the pass, you will arrive in the breathtaking Nubra Valley. Upon check-in at your hotel, take a short break to refresh before setting out to explore.

Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the historic Diskit Monastery (Diskit Gompa), offering stunning views and spiritual calm. Next, head to the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels or feel the adventure with an ATV ride through the dunes. To wind down, visit the soothing Panamik Hot Springs near the Siachen Glacier a natural spa experience amidst the mountains.

Day 4: Nubra valley to Turtuk day tour

Inhabited by the Balti community, the village stands out for its unique heritage and traditional way of life. Chumathang is known for its natural hot sulfur springs, a unique geothermal phenomenon that draws many visitors. After spending some time here, you will continue your journey toward Tso Moriri. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, take some rest, and then begin exploring the breathtaking surroundings.

The main highlight of this destination is the majestic Tso Moriri Lake. Accessible only during the summer months, the lake remains completely frozen in winter. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the tranquil blue waters of Tso Moriri offer unforgettable views. It’s important to note that camping near the lake is strictly prohibited, as the area falls within the Tso Moriri Wetland Conservation Reserve.

After exploring the TSO Moriri and capturing stunning photographs, return to your hotel in Tso Moriri for dinner and an overnight stay.
