Detailed Itinerary: Leh Ladakh 5 Nights / 6 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

After you arrive in Leh, our representative will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. Take some time to rest and get used to the high altitude. Later, you can either visit the nearby market or relax at the hotel

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing

Today, you will go for Leh sightseeing, where you will cover several popular local attractions. First, you will visit Shanti Stupa. It is a Buddhist monument, famous for its beautiful white dome. After spending some time there and admiring the Tibetan architecture, you will head to your next destination Leh Palace.

The Leh Palace was a royal residence built in the 17th century and is also known as Lhachen Palkhar. Today, it attracts tourists who come to admire its historical beauty and enjoy a panoramic view of the Leh market.

Lastly, if time permits, you will also visit the 3 Idiots School, also known as Rancho’s School, which gained popularity after the climax of the blockbuster Bollywood movie 3 Idiots was filmed there. In the evening, you can either explore the Leh market and shop for Dry fruits, Pashmina shawls Tibetan handicrafts or return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra valley

Take your breakfast early in the morning, as we are going for a road trip from Leh to Nubra Valley via the 2nd highest motorable Khardungla Pass. So, get up early and keep your luggage ready.

The pass is known for its high altitude. Many visitors come to the top of this pass to experience the real adventure. At Khardungla Pass, you can spend time, take some photos, and experience the coolness there even in the months of July and August. You can also get some snow there.

After crossing the Khardungla Pass and reaching Nubra Valley, check in to the hotel and complete all the formalities. Take some rest and start your sightseeing in Nubra Valley, because Ladakh doesn’t give you time to relax as it keeps changing its landscapes, which you can’t wait to explore.

The first destination to cover in Nubra Valley is the Diskit Monastery, also known as the Diskit Gompa. The next destination is the Hunder Sand Dunes, famous for Bactrian camel rides and ATV rides. And at last, visit the Panamik Hot Springs, located near the Siachen Glacier.

At night, enjoy a hot dinner and an overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 4: Nubra valley to Pangong Lake

Today, we are heading towards Pangong Lake from Nubra Valley. It is a beautiful road trip through the mountains of Leh Ladakh, and on the way, we will also cross the Shyok River.

The Rimo Glacier is the source of the Shyok River. Spend some time near the river, it feels like you are on a different planet because of the unique landscapes.

Pangong Lake is a beautiful and serene place that became more popular after the shooting of Bollywood films like 3 Idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Pangong Lake presents a perfect backdrop for Instagram reels.

After exploring Pangong Lake, enjoy a hot and tasty dinner followed by an overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh

On Day 5 of our Leh Ladakh tour package, we will head back to Leh, so make sure to take a few more pictures and complete anything you may have missed yesterday. While driving back, we will also cross one of the highest motorable passes the Changla Pass.

After reaching your hotel in Leh, take some rest. In the evening, you can go shopping and bring something special for your loved ones. Enjoy the late-night views of Leh Market, and later, return to the hotel for dinner and a restful sleep.

DAY 6 : Departure from Leh

On Day 6, it’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful land of Ladakh. After an early morning breakfast, You will be dropped off at Leh Airport for your onward journey.
