Detailed Itinerary: Leh Ladakh 4 Night / 5 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Once you arrive in Leh, our representative will greet you at the airport. From there, you will be taken to your hotel to rest and acclimatize. After resting, you can either visit the local Leh market or relax in your hotel room. Because on next day we will have to cover a long distance.

Day 2: Leh to Nubra valley

On Day 2, after having a fresh and delicious breakfast, we will move to our destination, Nubra Valley. So, pack all your things because we are going to cover a long distance of around 150 km. We will also cover the second-highest motorable pass, known as Khardungla Pass. At the top of this pass, you can enjoy Maggi or other snacks and take photographs with the signboard showing the altitude of this mighty pass.

After reaching Nubra valley and completing all the formalities at the hotel, you can leave for the sightseeing tour. Diskit Monastery is the first destination in Nubra Valley, which is also known as Diskit Gompa and is the oldest monastery in Nubra Valley.
The next destination is Hunder Village. Hunder Village presents a completely unique landscape with its sand dunes, and it is also famous for the Bactrian camel ride. Here, you can enjoy activities such as an ATV ride or a Bactrian camel ride. The price for a short ATV ride is Rs. 500, while for a long ride the price is Rs. 1000 — the same applies to the Bactrian camel ride.

After enjoying Hunder Village, visit the last destination for today — Panamik Hot Springs, a freshwater spring located near the Siachen Glacier, believed to have medicinal properties. To visit this spring, you may need a permit.

After finishing all sightseeing points of Day 2 of our Leh Ladakh tour package, we will head back to the hotel, where you will enjoy dinner, sleep, and prepare for the next exciting day.

Day 3: Nubra valley to Pangong Lake

On Day 3, we will move to our next destination, Pangong Lake, which you may have seen in Bollywood films like 3 Idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. From Nubra Valley, we will travel to Pangong Lake via the Shyok River, which originates from the Rimo Glacier. On the way, you can enjoy some peaceful moments by the river.

Once you reach Pangong Lake, you will be mesmerized by its clear, crystal-blue waters.

After arriving at your campsite in Pangong, take some rest. Later, you can explore the surroundings of Pangong Lake. Finally, enjoy a steaming hot dinner followed by a comfortable sleep in a cozy camp by the lake.

Day 4: Pangong Lake to Leh

On Day 4, wake up to the beautiful views of Pangong Lake and have a warm breakfast at the campsite. Take a few more pics of the lake before we head back to Leh.

We will drive through the scenic route via Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. At the top of the pass, you can stop for a bit to see the snow and take some pics. The journey is full of dramatic mountain views, small streams and yaks, a true Himalayan experience.

We will pass through villages like Durbuk, Tangtse and Sakti and you will get a glimpse of Ladakh’s traditional life. If time permits, we may visit Thiksey Monastery or Shey Palace depending on the day’s pace.

By evening we will reach Leh and you can check into your hotel, relax and have hot dinner. Take some time to rest and unwind and reflect on the journey so far.

DAY 5 : Departure from Leh

On Day 5, it’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful land of Ladakh. After an early morning breakfast, we will drop you off at Leh Airport for your onward journey.
