The Mission
Travel Without Barriers
When planning for a person with disabilities, the "human-first" approach is paramount. For Mr. Anoop Kumar, we didn't just book a cab; we mapped a route that prioritized comfort, minimized physical strain, and ensured every scenic spot was accessible.
Planning an accessible Kashmir trip requires more than just good intentions; it demands ground-level knowledge of which roads are smooth, which hotels have ground-floor rooms, and which viewpoints can be reached without steep climbs.Driver Shahnawaz was briefed thoroughly before Day 1. He handled boarding assistance, chose the most accessible parking spots at each destination, and paced every excursion around the group's comfort rather than a rigid schedule. The result was a trip that felt effortless, dignified and joyful for all three guests.

♿Ground-Floor Stays
We pre-verified all hotels in Srinagar and Pahalgam to ensure rooms were on the ground floor or had lift access.
🚗Assisted Boarding
Shahnawaz was briefed to assist with boarding and deboarding the Sedan at every stop with utmost care.
🛶Accessible Shikara
The Shikara ride on Dal Lake was coordinated at a specific ghat with low-step access for easier entry.
🏞️Step-Free Routes
Sightseeing in Mughal Gardens and Sonmarg was limited to paths that are wheelchair-friendly or easily walkable.
⏳Flexible Pacing
No rigid timelines. The itinerary was designed to allow for frequent rest stops and a relaxed daily start.
📱Accessible Viewpoints
Each sightseeing stop was pre-vetted for accessibility — flat approach paths, vehicle proximity and paved surfaces so Mr. Kumar could participate fully in every moment.

Shahnawaz coordinated seamlessly with the two companions, briefing them on terrain ahead so the group could plan assistance for each new location together.
📱24/7 Monitoring

Case Study · How We Handled It
Challenges & Our Solutions
Challenge
Airport arrival logistics for a guest with mobility needs required careful coordination standard airport pickup areas are often congested and inaccessible for comfortable vehicle boarding.
Our Solution
Shahnawaz arrived early and positioned the sedan at the most accessible exit. He assisted with luggage and boarding, ensuring Mr. Kumar and companions were seated comfortably before departure. The hotel drop was completed with zero waiting or confusion.
Challenge
The Srinagar–Pahalgam drive is approximately 90 km and can be bumpy on certain stretches near Anantnag a concern for passenger comfort on a full day journey with a person with a disability.
Our Solution
Shahnawaz drove at a measured pace with two planned comfort breaks. He took the main highway which is better maintained, and timed the drive to avoid construction-hour delays. Pahalgam's open valley meadows meant the destination itself was accessible and restorative.
Challenge
Srinagar's older Mughal Gardens can have uneven stone paths and steps that are difficult for guests with mobility issues.
Our Solution
We selected Nishat Bagh over Pari Mahal, as it offers a more gradual incline and wider, paved areas near the entrance that provide stunning views without needing to climb tiers.
Challenge
Pahalgam and Sonmarg involve rugged terrain that usually requires ponies or long treks to reach key viewpoints.
Our Solution
We utilized the sedan for road-accessible viewpoints like Betaab Valley and coordinated with local vehicle unions for 4x4 vehicles that could drive Mr. Kumar directly to the best scenic spots.
Challenge
Day 6 return to Srinagar needed to conclude with a smooth airport drop ensuring Mr. Kumar arrived rested, on time and without the physical fatigue that a rushed final day often causes.
Our Solution
The Sonmarg–Srinagar return was scheduled with a comfortable early departure. Shahnawaz ensured one final relaxed stop at a scenic point along NH-1 before a timely airport arrival with full boarding assistance, giving the group a dignified and memorable farewell to Kashmir.
