Our Solution
Driver Shahnawaz was briefed with Marta's photo, flight details and arrival time. He held a named placard and was stationed before 11:35 AM. Her hotel Al Mehar was pre-informed of her solo international status for a warm, attentive check-in.
Challenge
Arriving on Day 1 at nearly noon left limited daylight for sightseeing yet rushing a jet-lagged international traveller on her first day risked a poor experience.
Our Solution
We planned a relaxed Srinagar local sightseeing for Day 1 — Mughal Gardens, Dal Lake Shikara activities gentle enough for arrival day, meaningful enough to begin the Kashmir magic immediately.
Challenge
Gulmarg involves altitude (around 2,650m). For a solo traveller unacclimatised to high elevations, altitude discomfort was a genuine concern requiring careful pacing.
Our Solution
Gulmarg was placed on Day 2, after a night of rest in Srinagar. Shahnawaz was instructed on comfortable pacing, with no rush on the ascent. Marta had full freedom to choose her comfort level for activities like the Gondola.
Challenge
The Srinagar–Pahalgam leg involves a hotel change so managing luggage, check-out and check-in alone as a solo traveller can feel stressful without support.
Our Solution
Shahnawaz assisted with all luggage transfers. Both the Pahalgam hotel and the return Srinagar hotel were pre-confirmed.
Challenge
Day 5 required a clean checkout from Srinagar hotel and a comfortable airport drop for a 12 noon departure timing needed to be precise for an international onward journey.

A planned early checkout with ample buffer time ensured Marta reached Srinagar Airport comfortably ahead of noon. Her final morning in Kashmir was calm, unhurried and concluded a perfect solo journey on a warm note.
