Gulmarg Gondola Closed for the annual safety inspection. Plan your Gulmarg visit accordingly
Both stages of the ropeway, from Gulmarg to Kongdoori and from Kongdoori to Apharwat will remain closed for four days in September 2026.
The temporary closure is due to the annual inspection of the Gulmarg Gondola to ensure visitor safety.
Operations will be completely suspended from Monday, September 14 to Thursday, September 17, 2026. Normal operations are expected to resume on the morning of September 18, 2026.
