Srinagar International Airport has announced a phased runway maintenance programme planned by the Indian Air Force, affecting flight operations from July 2026 onwards.
Phase 1: Closed every Monday & Tuesday. Limited flights on other days, operating only between 8 AM and 5 PM.
In Phase 2 all flight operations including commercial, private and charter will be completely suspended for 15 consecutive days from Oct 1–16, 2026.
Flights may be cancelled or rescheduled. Hajj flights have already been adjusted and tourism bookings may be affected. Plan your trip accordingly.
