Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated Asia’s largest tulip garden, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, located at the foothills of the Zabarwan range
The garden features 1.7 million tulips in 73 varieties, along with daffodils, hyacinths, and other flowers. It is a must-visit during spring.
No eatables are allowed. Visitors can stay for a maximum of 2 hours. No camping or spreading of mats. Polythene bags are not allowed. Littering is strictly prohibited. Smoking is not allowed.
The entry ticket price for the Tulip Garden is Rs. 75 for adults, Rs. 30 for children, and Rs. 200 for foreign tourists.
