A major weather shift is coming this March.
A series of light to moderate Western Disturbances will affect Kashmir from March 10- March 13 . Expect changing weather across the valley.
Most plains of Kashmir Valley will receive widespread rainfall during this period. Cities likely to see rain Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag.
Higher reaches may receive moderate snowfall at higher altitude including Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Gurez and Pir Panjal ranges.
Heavy rainfall expected in North Kashmir including districts like Kupwara, Bandipora and Baramulla. Central and South Kashmir will see moderate precipitation.
If you are visiting Kashmir after March 12, there are good chances of fresh snowfall in higher destinations.
Best places to visit after fresh snowfall : Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Doodhpathri.
