The LG of Jammu and Kashmir has announced the Yatra starting date.
The Amarnath Yatra for the year 2026 will start on July 3, while the Pratham Puja will be held on Jyeshtha Purnima, June 29.
The Amarnath Yatra for the year 2025 will conclude on August 28, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The Yatra will last for 57 days.
The registration for the Amarnath Yatra will begin on April 15, 2026. Pilgrims can apply through both online and offline modes.
For online registration, visit the official website of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board. For offline registration, there are around 550 designated bank branches across India.
There are two route options for the Amarnath Yatra. One is the traditional Pahalgam route (easier but longer) and the other is the Baltal route (shorter but more difficult).
